The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released a Public Notice dated 08.01.2026 regarding the NEET (UG) 2026 syllabus. As per the notice, the syllabus for NEET Undergraduate 2026 has been finalized by the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) under the National Medical Commission (NMC).
This announcement is crucial for all students preparing for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical courses in India and abroad.
Who Has Finalized the NEET UG 2026 Syllabus?
The syllabus is finalized by:
- Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB)
- National Medical Commission (NMC)
NTA will strictly conduct NEET UG 2026 based on this finalized syllabus only
This decision has been taken following:
- Approval of the Ministry of Education
- Approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare
- Directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India
